Overseas customs clearance operation process
1. Commission
The shipper informs the agent that the agent is required to arrange the transportation of the whole vehicle or container, the sending station and the country and arrival station, the name and quantity of the goods, the estimated time of transportation, the name of the customer unit, telephone number, contact person, etc.
2. Document production
After the goods are shipped, according to the actual packing data of the goods, the customer will complete the preparation and submission of Russian customs clearance documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) that meet the requirements of Russian customs declaration.
3. Handling of cargo certification
Before the goods arrive at the customs clearance site, they will complete the submission and approval of certification documents such as Russian commodity inspection, health and quarantine on behalf of the customer.
4. Forecast Off
Three days before the goods arrive at the customs clearance station, submit the documents and customs declaration forms required for Russian customs clearance to the customs to carry out the advance customs (also known as pre-entry) of the goods.
5. Pay customs duties
The customer pays the corresponding customs duties to the customs based on the amount pre-entered in the customs declaration.
6. Customs inspection
After the goods arrive at the customs clearance station, the customs will conduct verification based on the goods declaration information.
7. Check and verify
If the cargo declaration information is consistent with the customs inspection, the customs inspector will submit the inspection certificate of this batch of goods to the customs.
8. Close release
After completing the inspection, the customs will stamp the customs release stamp on the customs declaration form and file the batch of goods in the customs system.
9. Obtaining formalities certification documents
After completing the customs clearance, the customer will get the certification certificate, tax payment certificate, copy of the customs declaration and other relevant documents.
Precautions for overseas customs clearance
1. Prepare documents, sales contract, insurance, bill of lading, packing details, invoice, certificate of origin, commodity inspection, customs post documents, customs transit documents, etc. (if it is a transit cargo).
2. Overseas customs clearance insurance, international cargo insurance only insures to ports or ports, does not include customs clearance risk insurance, so you must confirm the customs clearance insurance before shipping.
3. Confirm with foreign customs before shipment the tax of the goods and whether it can be cleared.
