The Siberian branch of the General Administration of Customs of the Russian Federation and the head of the Manzhouli Customs held a discussion in Hutian on the results of the cooperation and future development prospects in Irkutsk.
Now, the electronic filing time has been shortened to 4 minutes, and the technical break time has been reduced from 3 hours to 1 hour. The Siberian Customs and Manzhouli Customs are currently exchanging information on products such as fruits and vegetables, wood and wood products, machinery and equipment.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs of the Russian Federation, the foreign trade of the Siberian Federal District reached US$11.8 billion in the first quarter of 2019, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%. Among them, 84% of imports and exports are exports, reaching 9.9 billion U.S. dollars, and 16% are imports, reaching 1.9 billion U.S. dollars. Exports from the Siberian Federal District to the United States increased by 10% to US$907 million.
